Fall Farm Fun Weekends at White Post Farms of Melville

Come join us weekends this Fall for our Fall Farm Fun Weekends complete with favorites such as Sing-A-Long Hayrides, Pumpkin Picking and  Paint Your Own Pumpkins. Also enjoy three new Animal Performances, The Dominguez Poodles, The Canine Stars, and the Animal Magic of Jim McClenahan. Between the activities stop by one of our Fall Food stands for a delicious lunch! Read below to learn more about all we have to offer.  

Sing-A-Long Hayrides

Enjoy a Ride Through the Corn Field behind one of our John Deer Tractors.

Sing to Farm Songs through the cornfield in one of our farm wagons with your family. Going from 10 am to 5 pm and leaving from the Cornfield, the Hay Ride is a farm classic and a tradition we’ve had from our first festivals.

The Hay Ride Is Included with Admission; however ride capacity will be lowered to Maintain Social Distancing.

Pumpkin Picking

Bring Home Your Favorite Pumpkin! Carve Jack o Lanterns, Make Pumpkin Pie, Leave them on your doorstep to bring the feeling of Fall to your town. There’s so much you can do with your Pumpkin. Pumpkins must be purchased at our exit registers. Pumpkins are priced at 69 cents per pound, with a $4 minimum.

Paint Your Own Pumpkin

Make a pumpkin your own by Painting your favorite design! Pumpkin Painting is available in the cornfield for an additional charge.

You can use a small pumpkin you picked or choose from ones we have set aside for painting

The Dominguez Poodles

As seen On America’s Got Talent the Dominguez Poodles showcases the Dominguez family with the husband and wife team of Jorge and Alira along with their two children and 10 dogs! What tricks will they perform? You’ll have to watch it to find out.

Touring the Americas with their Canine Companions, don’t miss this group of daring dogs that Love to Perform for you

Giving over 200 dogs a new beginning, the Canine Stars is just as much a story of the handlers as it is the dogs. 25 incredible people that spend their days training once forgotten dogs to becoming world class stars that leave us in awe.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! Due to the limited attendance allowed you will need a ticket on weekends and all holidays. There are some weekdays that we will be below capacity and allow walk ins, please check first before coming.

On weekends you will not be able to enter as a walk in if we are sold out. Most weekends and Columbus day will be fully sold out, and we will need to turn you away.

Following CDC and NYS guidelines, timed entrances are are so we can limit the number of people in the farm at once. Therefore, we ask that you keep to the time on your ticket, we do check and will not allow you in hours earlier than your ticket time.

Your ticket is for rain or shine, The farm will be fully open, plan accordingly with umbrellas and ponchos.

No, your ticket must be used for the same day purchased. They are non-transferable to another weekend.

If you purchased a ticket and it was shown on your credit or debit card, but didn’t receive an email confirmation. Please let a staff member know before you reach the admission gates, They will be able to look you up in the computer and send you to the admission gates.

No you can show them from your email and we can scan them from there. We do not accept Screen shots.

Everyone 16 months and older needs a ticket to enter the farm.

Everyone pays the same amount to come in. Children 15 months and younger are free.

Everyone 3 years and older needs to wear a mask at all times throughout the farm.

If you need a mask break, you can sit at any of our picnic tables that are spaced 6 feet apart.

You can bring in snack items; however, no coolers or outside foods are permitted at this time. There will be a wide variety of foods for you to choose from when you enter.

No, the fundraiser passes are not valid through September, October and Columbus day. It is valid during the week, present to as staff member for admission.

Yes, if all tickets are not sold out for the time you are planning on coming. On holidays, and days kids are off from school, we highly recommend purchasing a ticket as we will be sold out.

Parking is Free.

Yes, there are many paved and graveled walkways in the farm.

Once you arrive at the time that is on your ticket you are welcome to stay as long as you would like. We expect the average visit to be 2.5 to 3 hours on the weekend and holidays and 1.5 to 2 hours during the week.

The fall fun weekends are from 9:30 am to 6 pm. Last ticketed admission is at 3:30. During the week not including Columbus day, the farm is open from 10 am to 6 pm and last admission is at 5:00.

You we have both! Hay rides will be operating at 50% Capacity and will be sanitized between each ride.
